week 16 Final Assignment

Social Sites... Who would've ever thought how beneficial they would become to companies that are wanting to connect with their target market, advertise, or network. Before taking CSIT 155 I was aware that social sites had advertising included in the overall model of the sites however never to the degree of which I learned and was able to actually identify with while completing the semester assignments. I most definitely was enlightened. The analytics that are available for business's that want to truly understand their market, and demographics is phenomenal. Important information ranging from the  ages of the people viewing your post, where they live, and even what kind of device they are utilizing to engage. Companies that take heed to the information from the reports they receive are able to formulate a strategic social media campaign. One that directly aligns itself with what's working best for the business. Implementing this, saves time and money. Not wasting time...

The Facebook analytics insight feature is awesome! The data collected is so valuable in understanding what's working in your marketing campaign and what's not. The followers section specifies exactly how many followers your page has and when and where you picked those followers up from. This information is very valuable when you are wanting to establish Brand recognition. Using this data helps you focus your efforts where you are gaining the most support. The action section itemizes out people who clicked on any of your information on your "about us" area. Address, phone number, action button, or website. The data is so detailed it will tell you the age, country, gender, and even the device the person used. Detailed is an understatement.This was so beneficial to understand the demographics of the people who are actually engaging on your page. Google Analytics is an awesome tool to utilize for small businesses that are on  a budget and want to maximize their marketing potential. The Google+ 360 seems like a complete program that outlines all the essential components needed to zoom in on what works best for individual businesses marketing goals and objectives. Google Ad words is definitely a feature Poetry Events can benefit from. One of our main objective is Brand Recognition.  Using Google Ad Words allows us to set a budget and gain awareness to those that find interest in our company specifically. The Third Party feature will also be beneficial. Poetry Events is designing it's Social Media Campaign around building a relationship with supporters thru creating an email community.
