Week 3 Part 2

Social Media Audit

Dave & Busters Event Planning- daveandbusters.com

Facebook- Most recent post Sept.7th Dave & Busters has a Facebook presence that is well monitored.
A lot of the post are geared toward special events like Boxing matches, or seasonal sports. The company incorporates great visuals that entice the viewer.

Twitter- Most recent post Sept.7th Dave & Busters averages updating their post every 2-3 days unless advertising special deals or event updates.

Instagram- Most recent post Sept.8th Dave & Busters averages updating their post every 4-5 days unless promoting a Special Event or Seasonal advertisement geared toward specific sports.

Dave & Busters is utilizing their Social Media platforms very well. Updating them frequently and interacting within the communities they've attracted. They have mastered the concept of appealing to the customers senses by incorporating appealing visuals for consumers to view. I get hungry just scrolling through their social media.

Hannah Smith Events- hannahsmithevents.com

Facebook- Most recent post Sept.5th The company is very interactive within their community of friends. Hannah's photos are amazing! She incorporates “real” people during their actual wedding and tags the friends allowing ALL their friends to view and share. Great Idea!

Instagram- Most recent post Sept.5th looks to be directly correlated to Fb. A lot of duplicate post. Great pictures. Again I love the fact the company tags other vendors. These vendors such as florist, caters etc are then able to engage by commenting, or sharing as well.

Pinterest- Not sure when the last pin was updated however there were several categories. The Board was very organized with several popular categories. Great pictures and good quality.

Hannah Smith Events is doing a good great job maintaining and monitoring their Social Media sites. Pinterest is very beneficial for the market of clients wedding planning attracts. They are able to get ideas and a vision for their own special day. Hannah's marketing strategy of using photos of actual clients on their special day and tagging them is brilliant!

Kinane Events- kinaneevents.com

Facebook- Most recent post Sept.6th average updates every 4 days. Most post are promoting healthy lifestyle living by participating in triathlons, race/walks incorporating proper eating habits. The company was very interactive within their social community. They incorporate great pictures, capturing your everyday americans achieving amazing accomplishment.

Twitter- when I clicked on their twitter page it was hard to determine if it was specifically for Kinane Events or solely for one particular event, the O'side Turkey Trot. The company has been updating daily to push the event really hard. The other few post were related to healthy living.

Instagram- Most recent post April 2016. Consisted of photos based around the Turkey Trot. I'm assuming this is one of the companies most successful event. The companies lack of Instagram presence could potentially be hurting their business. Instagram has a lot of active users, why not utilize it to the best of your ability?

YouTube- Most recent post- 3weeks ago. YouTube is a genius idea for this sort of business. Customers are able to view recorded footage of the event in action. The company updates an event each month. I love this idea! This form of marketing through Social Media can be used to advertise to potential sponsors. This can also help companies gauge consumer interest by how many viewers.

I think overall Kinane Events would benefit from monitoring and updating their Social media more frequently using content that is fresh and new! The concept of the business seems fun and very people oriented. What better way to interact with people than through Social Sites?!

Big Events Online. Com- bigeventsonline.com

Flicker- Most recent post Sept. 4th Updates post at least once a day. Interactive within the social community, “tagging” featured customers and events.

Facebook- Most recent update May 2017 the Facebook page hadn't been updated in awhile which seemed odd. However the first thing visible to the inquiring consumer was the reviews of the company. The first review available was from a dissatisfied customer. In which the customer stated she was not happy with the quality of the product and very unhappy with the lack of customer service.

Big Events did return a comment which was unapologetic and didn't make any direct effort toward rectifying the complaint. From a potential customer viewing the manner the company handled this complaint this could possibly hurt the company.

YouTube- Most recent update April 2011 This post being so long ago they should either update more regularly or just delete this platform.

Big Events Online needs to do a serious overhaul on all of their Social Media outlets. More effort needs to be put forth in regards to monitoring, posting and content quality.

ZPerfect Party- zperfectparty.com

Facebook Most recent update Sept.5th average post updates every 2-4 days. Perfect uses quality photos and engages with other vendors by “tagging” them in events they're associated with. Great social etiquette.

Instagram- Most recent update Sept.10th Great photos, engaging by tagging vendors which allows them to comment and share as well. Zperfect updates this platform frequently.

Pinterest- Great organization of the categories, and plenty to choose from. The company uses great style collaborations that are easy to follow. This platform is a perfect way to give clients the opportunity to select a foundation for their desired theme and build on it.

Overall Zperfect is utilizing the Social Media platforms to their advantage and growing a social following. However there are some areas where improvement is needed. YouTube could be a very valuable asset for the companies social networking goals. The company should update and monitor it more regularly. Lastly, when navigating throughout the icons on the companies website they where switched! When you click the Pinterest icon you get Facebook etc, etc. Weird right?! Yea, this could send a message to potential customers UNPROFESSIONAL!

Today It's important that businesses whom choose to promote through a Social Media platform utilize proper etiquette. Responding in a timely manner, rectifying disgruntled customers, demonstrating frequent monitoring, and posting quality content. Not incorporating these things can reflect negatively. Incorporating these important can improve business. It's a choice. Smart business choose wisely.
